Vulnerable on the open road

The excellent organization People For Bikes has produced a short video of interviews with professional bike racers talking about their view on cycling safely. Their experiences are universally recognizable, it’s just that these fellas are on their bikes for a living.

Idaho bikers should take note of the advice not to blow through red lights. Although Idaho has a unique law allowing people on bikes to ride through red lights after stopping, if the intersection is clear, too many people take that as license to simply ride through red lights with no regard for courtesy or cross traffic. Keep your head up, and leave your brain on.
